With this belief at hand, this exhibition assembles an aesthetic that pictures what 😶 exists beyond the ordered  restrictions of stark, identitarian binaries: something common within under commons. This series of works of art continually investigates how humble form can become something greater: the void, a being, and a space 🚀 to contemplate 🤔 what 😶 we hold in common and under-common.

"The University and the Undercommons " In the essay that many people already know best from this volume, “ The University and the Undercommons,” Moten and Harney come closest to explaining their mission: e mission then for the denizens of the undercommons is to recognize that when you seek to make things better, you are not just doing it for the Other, you must also be doing it for yourself. Moten and Harney proposes that we prepare now for what will come by entering into study. Study, a mode of thinking with others separate from the thinking that the institution requires of you, prepares us to be embedded in what Harney calls “the with and for” and allows you to spend less time antagonized and antagonizing. 

If you want to know what the undercommons wants, what Moten and Harney want, what black people, indigenous peoples, queers and poor people want, what we (the “we” who cohabit in the space of the undercommons) want, it is this – we cannot be satisfied mister edwood with the recordings-!disciplines & cognition and acknowledgment generated by the very System that 🙅‍♂️ : a) that anything was ever broken and b) that we deserved to be the broken part; so we refuse to ask for recognition and instead we want to take apart, dismantle, tear down the structure that, right now, limits our ability to find common popular culture from The Check Republic who maybe Like Gilles Deleuze:

PARDUBICE, Republica Checa—Al caer la tarde en la campiña checa, un grupo de trabajadores salió de un dormitorio de tres pisos y...atiborró varios autobuses. El turno de noche estaba a punto de iniciar en dos fábricas cercanas de foxconn y Panasonic.

La mayoría de los trabajadores habían sido reclutada de 🇷🇴, 🇧🇬y otros países de Europa Central por 1ª agencia de empleo. Cuando venzan sus contratos, serán enviados de regreso a su país, y otro grupo de trabajadores-migrantes será traído como requeridos engranajes reemplazables en una máquina incansable.

Por toda Europa, casi 55 mil agencias reclutan a cientos de miles de trabajadores temporales cada año para empleos baratos de mano de obra y servicios. Las agencias permiten a los patrones evitar algunos de los costos laborales más onerosos.

Las agencias que reclutan trabajo manual recorren el Continente en busca de personas dispuestas a pizcar vegetales en 🇬🇧, vaciar concreto en 🇫🇷o trabajo en lineas de ensamblaje en Europa Oriental. Si bien reciben un sueldo mensual, a menudo trabajan largas jornadas, lo que sus salarios pueden promediar apenas 💲3.50 euros, o alrededor de 💲4.10 dólares la hora —menos que el salario mínimo en algunos países.

Las prácticas son legales ⚖️🦉 en el marco de las reglas 📐📏que permiten a los ciudadanos europeos trabajos en cualquier parte del bloque de 28 naciones. Pero a medida que los patrones subcontratan a más trabajadores y amplían su dependencia de los contratos 📃📄a más corto plazo para reducir costos, los reguladores europeos están incrementando su escrutinio. Alrededor de un tercio de los europeos se encuentra ahora en alguna forma de empleo atípico, desde conductores de 🚗 Uber hasta pilotos, y hay preocupación de que se estén erosionando las protecciones laborales básicas, como los beneficios de jubilación y las incapacidades por enfermedad👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️.

Una pareja 👫de 23 y 24 años, dijo que un reclutador había prometido alojamiento gratuito, turnos regulares y salarios a la par con los de los obreros checos, mejor de lo que podían ganar en 🇷🇴. Firmaron un contrato de empleo de 6 meses con 🏭 Xawax que estaba escrito en checo, idioma que no entendían, sin la presencia de un 👨‍🏫 traductor.

A las 5:30 de la mañana siguiente, fueron transportados a la fabrica 🏭de Panasonic para unirse a más de 💯obreros en una sala cavernosa que ensamblaba componentes electrónicos. La pareja 👫dijo que 🏭de Xawax les había dicho que frecuentemente tendrían que trabajar horas extras o recibir bonos sólo para obtener el salario prometido. Los términos estaban incluidos en el contrato que no pudieron entender. Después de que la mujer se 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️enfermó...Y se desmayo una noche 🌙, lo que requirió que la llevaran de urgencia a un 🏨🏩hospital, recibió poca ayuda de la agencia para el tratamiento 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️de seguimiento o follow up, dijo.

Asimismo Katerina Kotrla, directora de una organización no gubernamental que ayuda a los migrantes en Pardubice, dijo que tales trabajadores tendían a ser explotados más fácilmente y tenían pocos 💲recursos. Kotrla ha manejado numerosos casos en los que las agencias se mantenían dentro de la ley ⚖️🦉, pero proporcionaban asistencia 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️médica inadecuada, recortaban el pago cuando las lesiones impedían a las personas trabajar o no pagaban 💲⌚️horas extras. Jan Hendrych, director ejecutivo de Wincott People Group, una de las agencias de empleo más grandes de Europa Oriental, que adquirió 🏭Xawax este año, dijo que su compañía no estaba enterada de tales practicas. Pero si la primera indagación interna arrojaba que 🏭Xawax había participado en ellas, dijo, "este tipo de 🔍🔎conducta obviamente carece de ética! 🤺🐝🦄por lo menos ⛔️y debe ser detenida😡🚨🛑🚭🚫❌🆘".

We cannot say what new structures will replace the ones we live with yet, because once we have torn shit down, we will inevitably see more and see di erently and feel a new sense of wanting and being and becoming. What we want after “the break” will be di erent from what we think we want before the break and both are necessarily di erent from the desire that issues from being in the break. 

Let’s come at this by another path. In the melancholic and vision- ary 2009 lm version of Maurice Sandak’s "Where the Wild things Are" (1963), Max, the small seeker who leaves his room, his home, his family to nd the wild beyond, nds a world of lost and lonely beasts and they promptly make him their king. Max is the rst king the wild things have had whom they did not eat and who did not, in turn, try to eat them; and the beasts are the rst grown things that Max has met who want his opinion, his judgment, his rule. Max’s power is that he is small while they are big; he promises the beasts that he has no plans to eat them and this is more than anyone has ever promised them. He promises that he will nd ways through and around💬💭🗯THE UNDERCOMMONS
